Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra – Transfer to Gangtok
Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our tour representatives will be on hand to assist you in your transfer to Gangtok. After reaching your hotel, you will complete the check-in process and have the remainder of the day to relax at your leisure.
Day 2: Discovering Gangtok
Following a delightful breakfast, embark on a journey to discover Gangtok. As the most populous city and the capital of Sikkim, it offers a wealth of experiences. Visit Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changgu Lake, where the glacial waters change colors with the seasons and hold great significance for the local populace. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Gangtok to Darjeeling
Start your day with a visit to Ban Jhakri Falls Park, followed by a visit to Do Drul Chorten, a stupa constructed in 1945, where you can offer your prayers. Other notable attractions include the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and the Flower Exhibition Centre. In the evening, depart from Gangtok and travel to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a restful night.
Day 4: Darjeeling
Begin your day early by traveling to Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise, where the snow-capped peaks of Kanchenjunga are illuminated in stunning colors. On your return to the hotel, make a stop at the Ghoom Monastery, the Japanese Temple, and the Batasia Loop.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, proceed to discover the city of Darjeeling. Admire the exquisite Buddhist stupa known as the Peace Pagoda and experience an exhilarating cable car ride at the Darjeeling Ropeway. Explore Tenzing & Gombu Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Do not miss the opportunity to take in the picturesque tea plantations of Darjeeling before returning to your hotel for the evening.
Day 5: Darjeeling – Depart Bagdogra
In the morning, check out from your hotel and make your way to the airport in Bagdogra to catch your flight home.
