Full Description

Begin your journey with a hotel pickup in Mysore and travel through picturesque countryside landscapes toward Bandipur National Park, located along the Mysore–Ooty highway. The park is one of India’s most well-preserved wildlife habitats and forms part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, connecting with forests in neighboring states.

Upon arrival, embark on an official safari conducted by the forest department (jeep or bus, subject to availability). Bandipur is home to a wide variety of wildlife including Asian elephants, Bengal tigers, Indian leopards, gaur, sambar deer, spotted deer, langurs, and peacocks. Your safari takes you deep into the protected forest zone, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and nature observation.

After the forest safari, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense).

Later, continue your adventure with an off-road jeep safari experience near the forest buffer zones and village trails.
