Full Description

Begin your day with a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Ooty. Travel through winding mountain roads and lush forest landscapes toward Mudumalai National Park, part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and one of India’s most important wildlife corridors.

On arrival, embark on an exciting safari experience (jeep or forest department bus, based on availability). The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife including Asian elephants, Indian bison (gaur), sambar deer, langurs, peacocks, and numerous bird species. With some luck and the right timing, you may also catch a glimpse of a Bengal tiger or leopard.

After the safari, visit the Theppakadu Elephant Camp, one of the oldest elephant camps in Asia, where you can observe trained elephants and learn about conservation efforts.

Relax and enjoy the return drive to Ooty in the afternoon, arriving at your hotel by evening.
